                 ACCOMPLISHMENTS / STATEMENTS





        The Jewish Home serves our community’s growing senior population by
        staying focused on key objectives. Our goal is simultaneously to maintain
        the excellence for which we have long been renowned and also to expand
        vital programs and services that maximize access and ease of use. Last year,
        the Home built on its distinguished track record of success in a number of

        crucial ways including:
            •  Maintained a 98.0% census in the Home’s nursing facilities during fiscal 2017.

            •  Launched a new pilot program for Medical Home Model through an L.A. Jewish
               Community Foundation cutting-edge program grant.

            •  Completed construction of Fountainview at Gonda Westside and the Brandman
               Residences at the Gonda Healthy Aging Center, and obtained Certificate of
               Occupancy in February 2017.
                  • Achieved 70% occupancy of Fountainvew at Gonda Westside within five

            •  Participated as a beta testing site for the Center for Medicare and Medicaid
               Services (CMS) in two skilled nursing facility areas: 1) qualitative measures
               mandated for electronic data submission, and 2) patient day mandated staffing
               hours for nursing services.

            •  Raised approximately $18.1 million in unrestricted donations, including $11.1
               million in estate gifts – plus $3.4 million in restricted donations.

            •  Obtained 20 grants for a total of $1,922,000 (included in above amounts).
            •  Sponsored community seminars and lectures, and engaged in presentations at
               multiple healthcare conferences.
