Person-Centered Care
How Can We Help? Part 3
Celebrating our Special Mothers
Dispelling the Myths About Hospice
Dear Friend of the Jewish Home,

May celebrates Older Americans Month, a recognition of the benefits to all of us of our seniors' contributions to our community, our country and the world. Of course, at the Jewish Home we celebrate our seniors every day by supporting healthy aging practices and ensuring their days offer life-fulfilling experiences.

May also brings Mother's Day, another opportunity to thank our dear mothers. The Home's board, staff, and cadre of dedicated volunteers greatly appreciate the amazing mothers, grandmothers, great-grandmothers, and even great-great grandmothers in our lives! Their nurturing care and love make everything possible! The Los Angeles Jewish Home demonstrates our appreciation by hosting the World's Largest Mother's Day Celebration. For over two decades our celebration has brought together friends, food, and fun for a wonderful Mother's Day morning at our Eisenberg Village and Grancell Village campuses.

Seniors are special individuals whose presence in our lives is a wonderful gift. As you read through this issue of Jewish Home e-Connections, you will sense how precious our seniors are to us at the Jewish Home and throughout Los Angeles. Their wisdom and experience have built our community — their continuing presence with us enriches our daily lives.

As always, thank you for helping us serve seniors across this city. With your partnership, we ensure our elders enjoy their lives with the dignity, respect, and help as needed to secure the golden years they enjoy.

Warmly,

Molly Forrest
CEO-President
