Dear Friend of the Jewish Home,

What began as a shelter for five homeless Jewish men at Passover nearly 104 years ago has today become an indispensable resource for seniors across Los Angeles: a Jewish Home that reaches out to and cares for them no matter where they live.

This culture of inclusion is at the heart of Connections to Care (C2C), our signature approach to community-based programming. With one simple phone call, seniors can access the Home's full spectrum of services, from the Brandman Centers for Senior Care (a Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) to Jewish Home Care Services.

C2C makes finding the right senior service simple and stress-free. It was created as a result of more than a century of experience meeting seniors' diverse needs — a breadth of experience captured in our recent history fair, held at Eisenberg Village. You can read all about it in this issue of Jewish Home Connections.

This month we are also bringing you a look at some of our activities for seniors, including a recent gathering of the Red Hat Society. Whatever the occasion, we take pride in providing our seniors a forum for self-expression, for building relationships, and for experiencing joy.

Accomplishing this is the work of many hands. We are very grateful for your ongoing collaboration in making it happen. Your support helps our seniors in so many ways, and we deeply appreciate everything you do.

Warmly,

Molly Forrest
CEO-President
